Meet Jetta!
Independent, people-focused, and ready for a fresh start.
Jetta came to H-E-A-R-T after being part of a severe local neglect case. She and five other dogs were surrendered to animal control, closing the door on a life none of them deserved. For Jetta, what comes next is a chance to experience something very different — a home where she is safe, included, and genuinely part of the family.
Jetta enjoys being with her people and would do best with a family that wants her involved in their everyday life.
Jetta’s Dream Home
Jetta is looking for:
A family that will make her part of everyday life
Plenty of human companionship
A home where she won’t routinely be left alone for long periods
Patience and consistency while she settles in and learns her new routine
Regular walks, exercise, and enrichment
A secure six-foot Husky-proof fence or a commitment to leash walking
A home where she can be the only dog or share her space with a calm, respectful canine companion
Jetta is non-destructive (although can be curious if you leave things on the counter), crate trained, housebroken, and mostly quiet for a Husky. She's a good eater and doesn't seem to be picky. For a Husky she walks well on a leash.
Jetta has already lived through a chapter no dog should have to experience. What comes next should look very different:
security, consistency, companionship, and a family willing to give her the time she needs to understand that this time, she’s home.
Jetta is located in Maryland.
