Moose and Macchiato were abandoned, then rescued in May after Macchiato had an encounter with a neighborhood dog. She lost a tooth during the incident but has otherwise made a full recovery.
Moose is the larger and more laid-back of the two. He has grown a lot over the last few months and is a gentle giant. He enjoys playing, napping in sunny spots, and curling up on a lap when it's time to relax. Macchiato is smaller, curious, and a little mischievous. She's always interested in what's going on around her and is especially affectionate. She loves to cuddle and often starts purring as soon as she's picked up.
Both Moose and Macchiato are affectionate, social, and still very playful. They are comfortable being handled, and they tend to be very gentle with people. They rarely use their claws when being held and would likely do well with children. They also get along well with other cats. Moose and Macchiato have been together through their time as strays, their rescue, and their transition to indoor life. Because of their close bond, we're hoping to find a home where they can stay together.
Macchiato is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. She is available for adoption at the Pet Pantry's main facility, 26 Millersville Road, Lancaster.
