Not every princess waits in a tower to be rescued.
Some simply walk up to the right person and make their own arrangements.
And so begins the tale of Bella Luna, a beautiful older black kitten who appeared before her future foster and, if we could translate kitty, we're quite certain she said:
"Word on the street is you'll find me a forever home and take care of me in the meantime."
Well. When a mysterious little ebony princess chooses you, how exactly do you say no?
So Bella Luna entered foster care and quickly revealed that beneath her shimmering black cloak was a girl filled with play, curiosity and just the right sprinkling of trouble.
The family dogs? No fear of those beasts.
Other cats? Welcome companions in her kingdom.
Wand toys? Enchanted objects that must be captured.
✨ Springs? Treasures to chase across the castle floor.
Rattly toys? Clearly under an evil spell and requiring immediate attack.
☀️ Sunny windowsills? Her royal throne, where she can warm her fur and survey her realm.
Bella Luna is confident, curious, playful and wonderfully social. She may have found her foster home entirely on her own, but there's still one chapter of her story left to write.
Somewhere out there is the person who will look into that beautiful black face and say,
"You don't have to ask twice. You're home."
And Bella Luna will live spoiled, adored and happily ever after.
