Wild Bill “Willy Billy”
Meet Wild Bill, aka Willy Billy — a wiggly, sweet-as-can-be boy with the heart of a warrior!
When Willy Billy came to Rescue Ranch at around 4 years old, he weighed just 25 pounds and had a body condition score of 2. He was severely emaciated, but even then, his spirit was stronger than his circumstances. This little guy never stopped fighting.
Now look at him! Willy Billy is a healthy, impressive 62 pounds and has completely transformed into the happy, goofy boy he was always meant to be. ❤️
He is incredibly sweet, snuggly, and affectionate, and he absolutely loves his people. He’s also a total wiggle butt! When Willy Billy gets especially excited, he may have a little happy pee accident—just like an overly excited puppy. It’s just part of his adorable, enthusiastic personality.
And the best part? Willy Billy is great with kids, cats, and other dogs! He truly seems to love everyone and just wants a family of his own to shower him with the same love and care that helped him come this far.
From 25 pounds and fighting for his life to 62 pounds and living his best life, Willy Billy is proof that a little hope, a lot of love, and a warrior spirit can change everything.
Wild Bill may have come to us emaciated, but he never let the world take away his spirit. Now he’s ready to find the family who will love him for the rest of his life.
Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert.
