Meet Custard & Finn!
Custard got his sweet name after being found wandering alone in the parking lot of an ice cream shop. At approximately 10 weeks old, he was already on the older side for socialization, and it was clear he had little, if any, positive interaction with people before being rescued. At first, Custard was understandably unsure of humans. Thankfully, treats turned out to be the quickest way to his heart! Before long he was accepting gentle pets and learning that people could be trusted. While he’s made incredible progress, Custard is still a thoughtful, cautious boy who likes a little time to get to know new people. Once he realizes you’re safe, his affectionate and gentle personality begins to shine.
As fate would have it, the very same day Custard was rescued, another orphaned kitten named Finn was found wandering alone in the parking lot of a neighborhood pool. The two boys were fostered together, introduced slowly, and quickly became inseparable. Though they aren’t biological brothers, you’d never know it by watching them. They spend their days wrestling, chasing each other through the room, pouncing from cat trees, and tumbling around like typical little boys before curling up together for a well-earned nap.
Finn is the classic mischievous little brother. He absolutely loves feather wands and any hanging toy he can bat, swat, and chase across the room. If something moves, Finn is convinced it was put there just for him! More often than not, he’s the one who convinces Custard that another game of chase is in order. His playful energy is contagious, and it’s impossible not to smile watching his joyful antics. But once playtime is over, Finn transforms into an affectionate cuddle bug who loves snuggling up with his favorite human for pets and a cozy nap.
Custard is a handsome brown classic tabby and white domestic medium-hair with a beautiful marbled coat, a fluffy tail, bright white mittens, and soulful eyes. Finn is an equally handsome brown classic tabby with a striking bullseye pattern that swirls across his sides. His most captivating feature, though, is his adorable face and those big, expressive eyes that seem to say,
“Who, me? I would never cause any trouble!”
—even when he’s clearly the mastermind behind the latest wrestling match.
Custard is looking for a patient family who understands that trust is something special to be earned. Give him a little time, a few treats, and lots of love, and you’ll be rewarded with a loyal companion who will truly choose you. Finn will happily keep everyone entertained with his playful spirit while reminding you every day that even the busiest little kitten still has plenty of room in his heart for cuddles.
Together, Custard and Finn are the perfect balance of gentle sweetness and playful fun. They have helped each other grow in confidence, and they share a bond that is truly special. Watching them chase, wrestle, groom one another, and then fall asleep curled up side by side is enough to melt anyone’s heart. Kitten Adoption Policy:
Kittens cannot be adopted as a solo pet, they must either go home with another kitten or join a home that already has a young, playful cat. If there are no other pets in the household, adoption of two littermates is required. Kittens thrive with a feline companion to help them learn, play, and develop healthy social skills.
