Ridge Needs a Medical FosterRidge is heartworm positive and has already started doxycycline. Because of that, we're specifically looking for a medical foster who can provide him with a safe place to recover while he completes treatment.The shelter has offered to cover his heartworm treatment if he remains local, so we're hoping to find a foster in the Memphis, TN area to give this sweet boy the chance he deserves.Heartworm disease is treatable. For further distances, there is limited transport assistance available, however the applicant will be required to drive no less than half of the total distance.
