Meet Reesey!Reesey is a handsome Pomeranian mix with a big personality packed into his 34 pound frame. He is definitely on the larger side for a Pom, giving you all the charm of the breed with a little extra to love.Although we do not know much about Reesey's past, we do know that he is a friendly, people focused dog who enjoys spending time with those around him. During his time with us, he has greeted everyone he meets with a relaxed, happy attitude and is always ready for attention and affection.Reesey has been easy to handle throughout his stay and has been calm and cooperative during daily care. He enjoys being close to people and seems happiest when he is part of the action. He has also remained calm when passing other dogs in the shelter, showing no concerning behavior during those interactions.Because we have limited history on Reesey, we are still getting to know him. We do not know how he may do with cats or children. Reesey came to us after his original owner passed away, and he was temporarily cared for by a family friend. While he was reported to have had difficulty adjusting to another dog in that home, the dogs were not introduced gradually. Since every dog relationship is different, we are happy to facilitate a meet and greet with any resident dogs to help determine whether they are a good match.If you are looking for a loyal companion who enjoys human company and is ready to start his next chapter, Reesey may be the perfect match.
