Sparkle is a 12-week old female torbie kitten. Did you notice what is unique about Sparkle? Itâs a small thing, but itâs a big part of her story. Sparkleâs eyes are different. Due to an infection when she first entered the shelter, Sparkleâs eyes have some visible scarring. She can still see and navigates the world just fine, but you might notice that her eyes look a little different. Different isnât bad, but some folks may overlook a kitten with a difference. Are you willing to look past this small difference to see the sweet kitten beneath?Summary of Personality: Sparkle is on the shy side. Because she arrived at the shelter with such a severe eye infection, her foster mom had to provide a lot of eye medications throughout the day. While these treatments ultimately saved her eyes, she developed a shyness about being handled. In her mind handling = stinging eye dropsAs a result, Sparkle learned to prefer her foster dad since he was the âniceâ human who didnât medicate her.Sparkle does best when paired with another outgoing kitten (like her sister Lucy!!). Lucy brings out Sparkleâs playful side. Lucy grooms Sparkle and helps build her confidence. If you are able to welcome two kittens, these sisters would make a wonderful pair!Home Life (experience with kids & other pets, etc): Sparkle does well with other cats, but is likely too shy for active children. A quiet, patient home will give Sparkle a chance to shine!Include any observations: Sparkle is litter trained
