Over a century ago, Sigmund Freud introduced the world to the id, the ego, and the superego, thus conceiving of a structure for the human psyche. Today, we bring you the best thing out there for your human psyche: three darling little kittens! A far cry from the heady self-awareness of psychoanalysis, these affectionate animals know exactly how to take your mind off your troubles and put you at ease.
Despite how much time they spend together, these three kittens’ personalities are as different as their namesake concepts. First, there’s Superego, a fun-loving little floof that moves through the world with the ease and lightness of a Koosh ball getting passed around a discussion circle. She loves to take her time, looking with wonder at the world around her so long that her siblings will leave her in the dust. Her solution? To call out to you until she finds a place to lay her head (with its charmingly long ear whiskers that sway in the air conditioner breeze).
Id is the boldest of her siblings, always eager to explore new hiding spots and curl up closer and closer to your face. She'll also make biscuits places no cat would think to do so, like hardwood floor or on your head. This spunky, spirited companion loves to be by your side and play the angel on your shoulder (assuming angels purr with gusto).
Finally, there’s Igo. Even though he only has one clear eye, it’s enough of a window for you to see into his soul. Igo is a deeply empathetic creature, always studying and coming up to comfort the people in his life. He loves pets, boops, and face rubs; if there are multiple people in the room he may even do the rounds to get some love from everyone! Not only people, Igo is also exceptionally friendly with other cats.
If you’re feeling the urge to adopt these sweethearts, don’t second-guess it. As Freud himself would say, sometimes a kitten is just a kitten!
These cats would be happy to be adopted as a trio, but they can also be adopted separately. All of them do need to be adopted with at least one age-appropriate friend -- applications for them as single cats will not be answered.
