Peanut is a sweet, affectionate cat who loves keeping an eye on his people and being part of whatever's going on around him — he's curious, present, and genuinely enjoys company. He's loyal too; he once followed me all the way to the trash bins just to tag along. He bonds well through routine, enjoys being groomed, and likes his space kept clean and tidy, making him a fairly easy, low-maintenance companion.
Because a family member has a cat fur allergy, Peanut has mostly lived outdoors in his own insulated cat house, coming inside on especially hot days. He's adapted well to that routine, though he'd likely thrive even more with an owner who can offer him full-time indoor living. You also won't find many indoor photos of him — after his snack and lunch he tends to nap, and we've always kept things quiet during his rest time rather than disturbing him. Peanut is looking for a patient, present owner who'll appreciate his gentle, watchful nature and give him the close, indoor companionship he deserves.
