Ledi is a sweet, happy little Chihuahua who brings sunshine wherever she goes. She’s incredibly friendly and loves meeting new people — young, old, and everyone in between — greeting them with enthusiastic tail wags and plenty of kisses. Her joyful, affectionate personality makes her an instant favorite.
Ledi is playful and a little goofy in the best way. She enjoys chewing on bones, playing with toys, and spending time with her best buddy, Chewy — her bonded companion who she absolutely adores. These two share a special connection and must be adopted together. Ledi loves being near her people and Chewy, but she’s not overly clingy — she’s just as happy to explore the yard, soak up the sunshine, and then come back for some cuddles.
She’s a well-rounded girl who already knows commands like “come,” “outside,” and “go potty,” and she gets along beautifully with other dog-friendly dogs. She rides nicely in the car, has an easygoing, even temperament, and settles in comfortably wherever she goes.
Ledi has completed treatment for heartworm and is now negative. She’ll simply need to stay on monthly preventatives for life to keep her healthy — an easy routine that will help her continue to thrive.
Ledi is the perfect mix of playful, affectionate, and easygoing. If you’re looking for a loving pair to brighten your home, Ledi and Chewy are ready to bring double the joy, double the love, and a lifetime of companionship.
Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.
