Every once in a while a Sheltie puppy comes into our rescue. And we all go "WOW!" Some lucky family will be the right match for Rory. He is a 7-month-old neutered male purebred sable and white Sheltie. And he is a hoot!
He enjoys the company of all of my dogs, large and small. Rory is a very active player and must have the fun of a gaggle of dogs. In fact, we will not place him with a family that does not have other pooches for him to run around with. Kids would be great too, as long as they are old enough to interact nicely with a small dog. And he is little at 18#. He has been raised on the Farmer's Dog recipes that are packaged just for him and he will come with a good supply of his food as well as every "extra" his family has provided for him. Multiple dog beds and blankies, tons of toys (lots of them interactive to keep his little brain engaged), etc.
Since Rory is a tiny genius, he will be screening applications with me on the computer. As of today, we will make him available. But there will be a flood of applications to go through, so please be patient. We will contact the families that have an appropriate situation for Rory and arrange for them to meet him. But, as much as we hate to disappoint people, we will only work with folks who will give him the best life ever!
