Kotuku is a confident orange tabby who's always ready for fun. Whether he's chasing toys, exploring his surroundings, or joining in a game with his feline friends, he approaches life with curiosity and enthusiasm. Once playtime is over, he's happy to settle down and relax near his people.
Kotuku has an easygoing personality. He's a little more thoughtful than the boldest kittens, but he's also quick to adapt once he knows what's going on. More of a follower than a leader, Kotaku is perfectly happy letting someone else take the first step before joining in. While he isn't one to seek out attention, he's more than happy to accept gentle pets and affection when they're offered. He's the kind of companion who's content simply being part of the family, whether that's playing with a friend or quietly relaxing nearby.
Raised in a foster home, Kotuku has grown up with well-mannered dogs and other cats and enjoys the company of both. His playful nature, adaptable personality, and calm confidence make him a wonderful fit for a variety of homes.
Named after the kōtuku, the graceful white heron that symbolizes beauty and treasured moments in Māori tradition, Kotuku carries a quiet confidence. He's ready to become one of those treasured companions for the family lucky enough to call him their own.
