Meet Ferdinand!
Ferdinand is a 6-year-old fluffy orange boy with an incredible story of resilience.
After spending his entire life surviving on the streets, Ferdinand became critically ill and was rescued just in time. Thanks to the dedicated team Community Cat Network of Cincinnati and their partner vet, he received lifesaving medical care and the chance to discover what it means to be loved.
Originally feral to everyone except his longtime feeders, Ferdinand has blossomed into an affectionate cat. Watching him learn to trust people has been nothing short of amazing. He'll likely be shy at first as he learns that he's safe and can trust his new family. But patience is rewarded—once Ferdinand settles in, his true personality shines. He becomes a confident, affectionate companion who happily meows for attention, seeks out pets, and even stands on his hind legs to ask for more love. Giving Ferdinand the time he needs to decompress will be rewarded with a loyal best friend.
Ferdinand does have chronic medical needs and is looking for a special adopter committed to his ongoing care. He requires weekly medication, a prescription diet, quality-of-life monitoring, and veterinary checkups every six months.
If you're looking for a cat with a remarkable journey and a heart full of love, Ferdinand is ready to spend the rest of his life as someone's cherished companion.
