Forever home wanted: Meet Lacey!
Lacey showed up as a stray, a little tired but otherwise in great shape—clean, healthy, and clearly someone’s dog at some point. She’s about 27 lbs and looks like a Labrador/Chihuahua/Whippet mix… or something equally unique and adorable. After an exhaustive search for her owner, Lacey is now a part of the Labradors and Friends family.
She’s an easy dog to have around. Lacey settles nicely in the house, is nondestructive, and adjusts quickly to new environments. She even hung out quietly during a pool league night and then walked into the pool hall like she belonged there—no fuss, no nerves.
She’s very social and comfortable with people, but still figuring out her new situation. Sometimes she’ll pause before coming when called, like she’s double-checking you’re sticking around. With a little consistency, that should come along quickly.
Lacey enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely do well with a confident canine buddy, but she’s also happy just being close to her person. One of her standout skills? Cuddling.
