Meet Forrest -- A Gentle Gentleman Ready for His Forever Home! There's something incredibly special about senior dogs, and Forrest is the perfect example. This handsome German Shepherd / Husky mix has traded the puppy chaos for a calm, gentle spirit, and he's ready to spend his golden years with a family who will love him as much as he'll love them. Forrest is a large senior boy with impeccable manners. He's both house trained and crate trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and has a relaxed, low-energy personality that makes him an easy companion to have by your side.
One of Forrest's favorite things is going for car rides! He loves being your co-pilot and is always happy to tag along for an adventure. Because of his age, he appreciates a helping hand getting in and out of the vehicle, but once he's settled in, he's ready to enjoy the ride.
Forrest is a smart, sweet soul who enjoys the simple things in life. A securely fenced yard would be his dream, giving him a safe place to wander, sniff, and soak up the sunshine at his own pace. He's neutral with other dogs and would be perfectly happy as your one-and-only, or sharing his home with another calm, senior canine companion. His ideal home is one with minimal stairs, allowing him to move around comfortably and continue enjoying life with ease.
If you're looking for a loyal friend who asks for little but gives so much in return, Forrest may be the perfect match. His gentle nature, quiet companionship, and loving heart make him the kind of dog who will quickly become your shadow and your best friend. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.
