Bogey is an incredibly sweet puppy, around 4 months old. As for her breed? We think she may be a hound mixed with american staffy, but one thing is for certain... she is definitely not a dachshund or corgi. This girl has legs for days!
Like any young puppy, Bogey is still learning the ropes. She's making great progress with house training and is getting the hang of using the doggy door. She does wonderfully in the car and settles nicely in her crate, though she still needs a late-night potty break since she is just a baby.
Bogey has a laid back personality and is happy to spend her days chewing on appropriate toys, playing tug, and hanging out with her people. She absolutely loves playing with other dogs, but she's also be perfectly content soaking up all your attention as the only pup in the home.
Bogey's adoption fee is $300 which includes her current vaccinations, microchip, preventatives, and a free basic training class at Cedar Run Company in Hiawatha. She will require a spay surgery when she is 8 to 10 months old which will be a requirement of her adoption. Bogey is seeking an indoor only home. Last Hope requires that adopters have a history of having kept their pets altered and current on wellness exams, vaccinations, and preventative care.
