Fletch Has Waited Long Enough…Could You Be the Family He's Been Dreaming Of?

Some dogs come into rescue carrying the weight of a life they never chose. Fletch is one of those dogs. At only 2 years old, this beautiful, 30-pound purebred French Bulldog should have spent his puppyhood learning what it means to be loved, spoiled, and cherished as part of a family. Instead, he spent most of his early life in a breeder's kennel in rural Tennessee, living in a crate and waiting for someone to notice the sweet soul behind his adorable smushy face. Yet somehow...Fletch never stopped believing that people are wonderful.

Today, this handsome boy greets the world with a happy wiggle butt, bright eyes, and a heart overflowing with love. He isn't afraid of anything. He simply wants to be wherever his people are—curled up beside you on the couch watching television, chasing a favorite toy across the yard, playing tug-of-war, or soaking up every belly rub you are willing to give. And when you've loved on him enough, he'll gently cover you with soft little kisses that seem to say, "Thank you for choosing me." Obviously Fletch loves being the center of attention, and honestly, it's hard not to let him steal the spotlight. His goofy expressions, funny personality, and joyful spirit make everyone around him smile. He has that special gift that only a few dogs possess—the ability to brighten an ordinary day just by walking into the room.

His past, however, left him with a few things he'll need help overcoming.

Because he spent so much of his life crated, Fletch is still learning house manners and will need a family willing to patiently show him what life inside a loving home is all about. Every new experience is another chance for him to blossom into the dog he was always meant to be.

He also had his vocal cords surgically altered before coming into rescue, so you won't hear the classic Frenchie bark. While his voice may have been taken from him, his loving heart speaks volumes every single day.

Like all French Bulldogs, Fletch must be carefully protected from the heat and should only spend a few minutes outside during warm weather. Keeping him cool and safe is simply part of loving this wonderful breed.

His foster mom says Fletch is one of those dogs you just want to hug. He's affectionate, gentle, hilarious, and so incredibly deserving of a family who will love him for the rest of his life. He doesn't need perfection. He just needs someone willing to open their heart and show him what forever truly means.
