He might hide and take some time to figure out if he can trust you—but once he decides you’re his person, get ready, because a completely different Robin Hood comes out! Once comfortable, Robin Hood turns into an energetic, playful boy who LOVES his wand toys. He’ll run around the room, chase them like a little hunter, and jump surprisingly high trying to catch them! Watching him play is so much fun, especially knowing that underneath that shy first impression is this goofy, energetic little guy just waiting to come out.And Robin Hood definitely knows how to make his wishes known. He is very talkative, especially when he decides it’s playtime. If he wants you to grab that wand toy, he will tell you… and tell you again… and keep telling you until you finally listen! He has no problem demanding attention and making sure his human understands exactly what he wants.As playful as he is, Robin Hood is also incredibly affectionate. He loves being petted, getting chin scratches, rubbing against you, and spending time close to his person. One of his sweetest little habits happens at mealtime. When you pour his food, he doesn’t immediately run to his bowl. Instead, he comes over to rub against you first and then goes to eat, almost like his own little way of saying “thank you.” Once Robin Hood trusts you, he truly wants to be part of whatever you’re doing. Expect him to follow you around the house, curl up on your lap, talk to you, demand his playtime, and happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give him. Robin Hood may also do well with another friendly kitty as long as they are given a proper, slow introduction. He just needs someone willing to give him a little patience in the beginning so he can show them who he really is: a loving, energetic, talkative, playful boy with a huge personality.
