Meet Cabbage!If you are looking for a dog who understands personal space... Cabbage is not the girl for you. In Cabbage's world, personal space is actually an insult! At 30 pounds, this sweet, goofy girl wants nothing more than to be your 24/7 shadow, lying on your feet, following you room-to-room, and soaking up every ounce of attention you have to give.Personality & TemperamentCabbage is packed with classic, irresistible Frenchie attitude. She is a confident, vocal, and enthusiastic girl who likes to be the first to greet, sniff, and taste everything. She truly believes she is the star of every show!Whether you're working from home, cooking dinner, or relaxing on the couch, Cabbage will happily plop down right next to you (or directly on top of you).Companion Compatibility Dogs: Great with dogs of all shapes and sizes! She currently lives with a 13-year-old American Bully and frequently hangs out with a Chihuahua. Cats: Fostered successfully with a dog-savvy cat. She can get a little pushy during play, but respects when the cat calls it quits.Children: Cabbage loves kids and treats them like immediate playmates! Because she gets excited and likes to jump up with her front paws to say hello, she would thrive best in a home with older children who can match her fun energy. Home Life & Quirks The Paper Shredder: Cabbage has a hilariously mischievous streak. If you leave paper, socks, or loose articles of clothing within reach, she will gladly turn them into confetti. Pro tip: If Cabbage is completely quiet, she’s definitely up to something! The Weather Preference: She is house trained, but has a strong opinion on bad weather, she strongly prefers not to do her business outside when it's raining! Crate & Night Routine: Cabbage is not a big fan of her crate. She takes a little time to settle down at night and would significantly prefer to sleep bundled up in bed with her humans. Leash & Activity: She loves daily walks, short hikes, and running after tennis balls in the yard (though returning them is optional). She does pull a bit on leash because she wants to lead the pack! Health & Activity Note: Like many short-snouted breeds, Cabbage does not tolerate high heat or overexertion. Her future family must ensure she stays cool and well-rested during warmer months.
