Meet Maryland!
Maryland came to Proverbs with her seven puppies from Memphis Animal Services. After arriving in our care, we discovered she was heartworm positive. She has since completed her heartworm treatment, is now heartworm-free, and is ready to find her forever home!
This sweet mama has done an amazing job raising her puppies, and now it's her turn to enjoy the life she deserves. While she's happy to run around and play at the dog park, she's just as content spending most of her day curled up for a cozy nap, especially if it includes the occasional belly rub.
Maryland is incredibly friendly and gets along wonderfully with people, children, and other dogs. She would be a perfect addition to just about any family. She's old enough to have outgrown the puppy chewing phase but still young enough to enjoy many years of adventures by your side.
Whether you have a busy, active household or a quieter home, Maryland fits right in. She doesn't mind a big, lively family, but she's also perfectly content relaxing while her people are away at work during the day.
