Jazzy lives up to her name—this girl has rhythm, personality, and enough happy energy to keep everyone smiling! She wakes up every day ready to make new friends and have a good time.
If there's another dog nearby, Jazzy has one mission:
"Want to play?!"
She absolutely LOVES other dogs and will do everything she can to convince them to join in the fun. She's learning that not every dog wants to wrestle all day long, but she's a smart girl and is getting better at respecting when her friends are ready for a break.
Cats? She met one and did great! When the cat hissed, Jazzy politely gave it some space... though she's still convinced they might become her next playmate one day.

She's doing wonderfully with her house and crate training on a consistent schedule. She may voice her opinion for a minute when she goes into her crate or puppy pen if she knows you're nearby ("Excuse me... I think you forgot me!"), but once she realizes it's time to relax, she settles in nicely.

We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at . Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
