Meet Killian.
Killian has survived more than any cat ever should. He came from a neighborhood where cats weren’t wanted, where there were no kind people to feed them and every day was a struggle to stay alive. As the “block daddy,” he did his best to survive, but it came at a terrible cost. When he was rescued, he was painfully thin, covered in scabs and scratches, and suffering from a large abscess on his cheek. (see before rescue photo below) His wounds are healing now, and each day he looks a little more like the handsome young cat he was always meant to be.
The most remarkable thing about Killian isn’t what he’s endured. It’s that he still loves people with his whole heart.
Despite everything, Killian is incredibly affectionate. The moment someone gives him attention, he melts. He’ll happily climb into your arms for hugs, shower you with little kitty kisses, and soak up every bit of love he can get. It’s impossible not to fall for this sweet, gentle soul. See video
If you can look past a few scars from his difficult past, you’ll discover a true diamond in the rough. Killian is ready to leave survival behind and finally experience what every cat deserves: a safe home, a warm bed, and a family who will cherish him forever.
Killian appears to get along well with other cats and should do well with gentle, respectful children. We don’t know how he feels about dogs, so slow introductions would be recommended.
