Meet Ned – sweet cattle dog mix!
He is about 14 weeks old and currently 20 pounds.
He is a gentle little pup of medium energy (for a cattle dog). A little shy on first meeting but warms up quickly. He has a great temperament—he is comfortable being handled and has no resource guarding issues.
His potty training is going great. He sleeps through the night in his crate but wakes up early and lets us know needs to go out. He still has a lot to learn: leash walking is still a work in progress, he needs to learn to come when called, and the usual teething and looking around for anythings he can chew on. He is doing well controlling the ankle nipping.
He loves the frisbee, can’t catch it yet but is starting to return it to me. He plays bitey face with my 8lb papillon (under strict supervision because he is almost 3x his size). He has not been tested with young children or cats. He would do well either as a solo dog with a loving family or with a canine playmate.
He was found as a stray in Georgia with his mom and siblings. He is up to date on immunizations, has been neutered and been on flea and tick medicine as well as heartworm preventative. He is being fostered in southern Maryland.
