Meet Della, a loving, affectionate, smart, and playful puppy who is the definition of SWEET! Della is an absolute LOVE! Della is super affectionate and loves belly rubs, pets, and snuggle time. Della has been playing energetically and appropriately with the other dogs in her foster home- sharing toys, sharing space, sharing the human! Della also loves to play with all toys, and can even hold a solo concert with her squeaky toys! She's done great with meeting kids, but we don't have information on her living with kids. She would prefer to slowly take in her environment and would do best on nature walks over a busy street or neighborhood. She has been building her confidence in new situations and doing well.
Della is crate trained, having zero accidents in her crate since arriving at her foster home, and within a few days of being in her foster home, she learned to go to the back door when she needs 'the bathroom' and has since had no accidents in the house. Della also settles down really well, making her a great mix of playful, energetic, and calm.
Basic group training classes is recommended to help her learn cues, socialize with other humans and dogs, as well as build that fur-ever bond with you!
If you're looking for a loving and lively friend to add joy and playfulness to your home, Della is the perfect match. Her warm heart and playful spirit are waiting to brighten your days.

Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
