MEET GREGORY! (Descriptor: Puppy-breath Bird Dog)
Holy smokes this boy is cute! About 3 months old he is pretty much the perfect puppy, which means he is outgoing, affectionate, curious, playful and eager to please. We don’t know his background as he was found as a stray, but he looks and acts like a purebred English Springer Spaniel. One day he will grow into his feet and the paw prints of his ancestors and be a perfect family pet for anyone who loves the breed.
Speaking of breed, here’s a little bit about his: The English Springer Spaniel is a medium-sized, energetic, and friendly sporting dog known for its intelligence, eagerness to please, and strong hunting instincts as a flushing and retrieving dog. They are loyal, good with families and children, and require significant exercise and mental stimulation, excelling in activities like agility, scent work, and field trials. Their coat is a medium-length double coat with feathering, and they have a lifespan of 12-15 years.
Gregory is being fostered on a farm and he loves playing with the other dogs, rolling in mud puddles, and generally being a loving little guy. He rides well in a car (took the 1.5 hour journey to the farm in stride) and is learning the ways of the world.
If you have the time to commit to raising a puppy and Gregory’s chocolate chip freckles have caught your eye, he may be the one for you.
Gregory’s adoption donation fee is $500, which includes spay/neuter, routine vetting and a microchip. You can apply for him by filling out our online application, which is found on our website www.tarashouse.org. Please email us at info@tarashouse.net with any questions.
