Ilka is our newest addition, and isn’t she lovely?
This beautiful girl is estimated to be around 2 years old, and is coming to rescue as an owner surrender. Ilka is your typical happy, bouncy boxer girl with lots of love and personality to share.
While she has decided she no longer wants to share her home with another female dog, she does attend doggie daycare and has done very well there. She has also lived nicely with children and a cat. Because she can be a little exuberant and jumpy in true boxer fashion, we will be placing her with kids over 10.
Ilka is housebroken, sweet, and walks nicely on leash, though she could use a little polishing in the leash manners department. Overall, she is a fun, affectionate girl who just doesn’t want to compete with another female dog in the home, and we can’t blame her!
