Come meet Bert!!
I’ve been waiting for my person or people that I can snuggle with, sleep with, and give kisses to. I am an affectionate and loyal miniature watchdog to my owners. My favorite activities are getting belly rubs, sitting on a lap, snuggling in a bed, or on a couch. I really love chasing squirrels, rabbits, and birds. I am a terrier and a chihuahua mix. I am true to my terrier breed. Terriers were originally bred to drive away small critters from farms and gardens and were used for hunting. I have a strong prey drive. I enjoy riding along in vehicles. When my foster mom is driving, my favorite spot to sit is between the two front seats so that I can look out the window and enjoy the scenery. I love getting attention. I also really enjoy daily walks of any length. I don’t wear out very easily.
I am terrified of thunderstorms and weary of strangers. I take a little bit to warm up with people that I don’t know. I prefer a quiet environment, and I would do my best in a home with no small children.
I lived with my brother. I lived with a cat. I enjoy chasing fast cats. I will do my best around more assertive/aggressive cats.
