Abileen (Abie)
Ms Abie is an energetic, friendly 7-month-old shepherd/cur mix. She weighs around 40lbs.
She was rescued from a local NC shelter, surviving Parvo.
She is fostered in a home with other dogs, cats, and loves to play with everyone. She loves playing with her foster brothers very much but can be a little over-playful with the cats.
Homes with cats who are not timid would be a better fit for Abileen.
Abie loves to run and play outside, can fetch and return toys, and keeps other critters out of the backyard. She is great at walking on a leash and enjoys going out on walks with her foster family dogs. Abie is excellent at jumping, chasing, plus she loves to find holes in the fence to escape, so it is a good idea to watch her in the yard. She would be an excellent dog to hike, camp, or run with.
When tired out, the corner of the couch is her favorite resting place, chewing on a bone.
