We all know a good pair of boots is totally worth the time required to break them in because they will provide years of joy and reliability. The same is true for the
Boot Babies!
Meet Lucchese.
Luchhese (AKA Lu) is a sweet female
who has a fiery spirit and
loves to work and play!
She is as smart as a whip and wants you to know
her boots were made for walking
. And that’s just what she’ll do! Lucchese foster family is an active, sport home. With their support, she has learned sit (verbal), down and stand with a fading lure, spin in both directions, touch, come, and loose leash/attentive walking. Lu has shown great focus and engagement, the ability to use her nose, and loved her beginner swimming class! A future in dock diving, perhaps?
Lu would love a family or person who can continue developing these skills with weekly classes and possibly competition. When Foster Mama tipped back her cowboy hat, Lu whispered, “I’d love a home who can teach me how to navigate stranger danger appropriately and give me an endless supply of treats and toys!” Foster Mama wants to add to Lu’s wish list. A furry sibling would be an amazing gift for this girl!
Things that Lu should
not
be trusted around due to developing prey drive:
Small children
Cats and small dogs
Chickens
Apartment walls - she is a bit too vocal for attached neighbors!
DNA Results
45% Malinois (one of Mama’s parents was Mal and GSD, the other was Malinois)
23% American Pit Bull Terrier
21% German Shepherd
9% Great Pyrenees
These boots are made for story writing. If you would like Lu to write her story with you, get those applications in!
