Meet Anastasia, affectionately known as Annie, a petite senior sweetheart with the gentlest soul you'll ever meet. Calm, loving, and wonderfully easygoing, Annie is the kind of cat who asks for very little but gives so much in return.
Annie loves the simple comforts in life—a soft, cozy bed for her afternoon naps, a delicious meal when you call her name, and plenty of gentle affection. She adores head rubs, enjoys being brushed, and has a favorite way to fall asleep: curled up on your legs with her head resting peacefully in the palm of your hand. It's impossible not to fall in love with this affectionate little queen.
Annie recently recovered from an ear infection and is still a bit cautious about climbing or jumping while she regains her confidence. The good news is that she's otherwise in excellent health. Her bloodwork looks great, and she recently had a dental, leaving her with a clean, healthy mouth and a bright future ahead.
She seems to do well with other gentle, respectful cats but would prefer a home without dogs. Her patient, tolerant nature makes her a wonderful companion for someone looking for a quiet, loving feline friend.
Annie's story is a heartbreaking one. After her owner abandoned her, a kind neighbor cared for her as best he could. When that compassionate neighbor passed away, Annie and two other cats were left with nowhere to go and came into our care at the beginning of last winter.
Now this sweet little royal is ready for a forever home where she'll never have to wonder if she's loved again. All Annie wants is a warm lap, a cozy bed, gentle hands to pet her, and someone to love.
