Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR)
The Cat Sanctuary is located in Eugene Oregon. We believe and follow the Trap - Neuter- Return program for feral and stray cats. The TNR process is simple: community cats are humanely trapped, brought to a veterinary clinic to be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and ear tipped (the universal sign that a cat has been spayed or neutered through a TNR program), then returned to the outdoor homes to which they are bonded so they can live out their lives where they thrive.
Education
We believe in teaching the importance of spay and neutering and the awareness of the overpopulation of cats in the Eugene, Springfield area of Oregon.

Together this group formed The Cat Sanctuary, a 501c3. The organization languished until this year when people came together to move forward and make the work of The Cat Sanctuary active in Eugene, Oregon and surrounding areas.
